Travel Funding Management: EDRI appointment

CSISAC Steering Committee Members agreed that the European Digital Rights (EDRI) host the travel fund received from the Open Society Institute for CSISAC members to attend OECD meetings.
EDRI is a CSISAC founding member, elected to CSISAC Steering Committee as a result of its 2009 election process. A procedure will be set out to allocate the travel funds so as to ensure that civil society participation is expert, effective, transparent, fair, and balanced in terms of interests and regions represented. It was further specified that the CSISAC Steering Committee will choose one well-established organizational member of the CSISAC Steering Committee to house the travel funding, in order to reduce losses with currency exchanges and overall management costs.
